Is this another troll...?

Most cars with a good brand and set of tires will do fine, just as long as you know how to handle and maneuver the car properly; unless you have some freak blizzard.

my uncle had a nissan 350z in some custom race-modded version made by some modding company

it goes pretty nicely.

god knows why you'd specifically want one as a summer car... it's a hard-top

Unless the snow is deep, the civic should be ok w/ good tires.  You could probably find a small truck and throw some sandbags in the bed over the wheels.  I have a 94 Jimmy 4x4 that I bought with low miles about 8 yrs back for cheap.  Goes great in the snow no matter how deep.

Wait so are you saying you want a car good for winter, or you are looking for a summer car? What is your budget? What style/size car do you want?

Yes, an overpowered rear-wheel drive car with wide tyres will be just great in snow

It's not a problem if you can control the cars acceleration, but hey, if you're a lead foot then that's a problem.

Did you even bother to read the thread before you start posting?

I'm pretty sure in a snowy condition, no one with wits floors the gas pedal.

post wasnt very clear.  I was told the nissan wont be able to handle the winter at all.  I havnt yet bought one but considering it.  I was looking for a vehicle thats like less than 2k for winter.  Mainly the snow, which there isn't much of anyways.  May need to just buy good winter tires and drive careful.

Your brain truly is fried.

For snow buy any old Subaru AWD, good set of tyres, thats it.

Just use the fucking Civic you have. Geeze. My girlfriend has a Golf Mk IV with 75hp and it gets around through the snow just fine. Just get a good set of tires and you'll be fine.

/thread

(RWD cars are horrible in the snow. FWD or AWD, but NOT RWD)

lolol even my mkII golf TurboDiesel with ~60bhp (if there are even that many left) does snow just fine, even on all-year tyres...

What are you doing? driving off road / on frozen lakes?

I'll start writing the OP's obituary. If he's dumb enough to think a 350Z is a good winter car, an EVO is going to kill him.
