I might be ordering my build (finally!) on Monday. Before I do so, however, I'd like to get some other opinions. Do me a solid and let me know what you guys think. If you have a different opinion, please use only parts from that website. Everything should be easy to translate, the German is all like the English sans one... Stromversorgung is power supply and for actual PSUs, you want to look under that category at Netzteile.

EVGA GeForce GTX460
LG Flatron W2243T-PF 21.5"

The processor I am keeping, I don't want to change it at all. Budget is €1000. I would like whatever monitor I get to be a 1920x1080. The only thing I am not sure I have right is maybe the RAM. The reviews look good and the clock speed is all correct, but not sure if I am paying too much. I suck at picking out what RAM to buy, but I do want some quality, I'd rather not have to worry about RAM chips failing.

I think I've picked it out all correctly, let me know.

Why are you choosing that CPU? Are you going to be using programs that are heavily threaded? If not, an i5 750 would get much better performance in games.

The rest looks alright though.

I looked at the i5-750 and the configuration for it comes out to be more expensive than the 1055T.

I'd like to do lots of folding (now that I'll finally have some horsepower to do it) with the CPU and the GPU. I also will be working on some more graphical stuff and more programming this coming semester at uni. Not really all high load projects, but this computer is going to need to last a while and I figure 6 is always better than 4. If you have some compelling argument to really convince me to shell out the extra cash for the Intel, though, I'd love to hear it!
