What should I do about it? I'd mentioned in an older post the wire from an older splitter that they cut that went to the electrical box on a part labeled Cable TV before, and that it was cut when FiOS installed a new splitter and there's nothing connected to that part now. Could that mean that the cable is no longer grounded in anyway and that's why I get shocked? And the closer to the connection I get, the more it shocks me, I can feel it through rubber utility gloves when I'm working at the splitter connected directly to the FiOS box.
It makes it a bitch to work with and at some point, I'm going to have to figure out why the cable coming into my room isn't working, since it's going to have to be split again when my uncle moves in so his room next to mine will be able to get TV. The one in my room doesn't work and consequently isn't shocking me when I do anything with it.
And also like I said, anytime I have move stuff going into the living room TV, which involves the HD FiOS TV box, touching anywhere on that box is extremely shocking.
