dude, about time that freakin' minigun needed a nerfin' cause it was getting kinda ridiculous with the mad crazy black hawk crews...

anyways we need some equal sharing of the transport choppers i usually see ppl avoiding getting into those things cause they're afraid of getting shot down by the black hawks flyin' around.

The Video uses the XVID codec.

Basically I have my crosshair on the guy for a full 5 seconds before he dies, normally you don’t even need to hit the target since the splash damage is so high.

I would have killed the guy quicker if I had jumped out the chopper and shot him with my assault rifle.

Ok, that video had nothing to do with the blackhawk being nerfed. I agree that the blackhawk being able to take WAY less damage sucks but this video isn't about that. Yeah so the blackhawk minigun dosen't do splash damage anymore. It never should have. 7.62mm rounds dont explode when they hit the ground.

i can't watch the vid right now so i can't really argue, but i didn't think it did splash damage before - it just put an amazing amount of bullets all over a particular area. so you could just wave it around in the general direction of troops, but it wouldn't be splash damage that killed them, it would be the amount of space the gun covered with lead, very fast

as i say, can't watch the vid, so just a thought

The blackhawk minigun DID do splash damage before the patch. And in the video (if you cant watch it) the guy is spraying at a sniper at the ground and it takes him about 5 seconds to kill him. Before the patch the dude would have been toast after the first burst but since the blackhawk is moving and he has to aim in front of the target when he finally manages to he kills him.
