I bet they think it's hilarious that they gave you a vagina statue and you have to put it somewhere to not appear rudeKimmmmmmmmmmmm wrote:

jackie brown was a really well written movie. a few mistakes in the plot. the dialogue between characters was excellent

Has anyone read "congo" by micheal crichton? I don't know if I can be bothered commiting, I've got Hannibal as a fallback...
It was okay. After coming off of RDogs and Pulp Fiction people expected better of Quentin Tarantino and so the movie gets a rep as shit since people are comparing it to his Rdogs and Pulp.eleven bravo wrote:

If it wasn't a Quentin Tarantino movie people would probably appreciate it more.

I have and it is hundred times better and more grusome than the movie. if I remember correctly, the first few pages has a guy getting human eyeballs tossed at him.jord wrote:

I've got Silence of the Lambs somewhere.
I love those other two movies but I have to say the writing is just better in jackie brown. its like each character is a real person with their own particular mannerisms, whatever, not like you could tell every character was written by the same motherfucker in most other movies (you kow what i mean, when say a man and woman both share the same propensity to scream out the exact same versions of the word "fuck" multiple times in a movie, as an example.)Macbeth wrote:

only problem i have with jackie brown is how unrealistic the whole "bailing em out and then killem em" angle was. in california, when someone is on probation or parole and they get caught up on a violation, there is no bail so beaumont could never have been bailed out
