Sad but so fucking true....
Kind of like NASCAR in some areas. Jeff Dunham said it's an easy sport to watch when you're hammered.
Pretty much...  and I live an hour and a half from the home of NASCAR...  ugh...

That's what we said about Obama.  Too bad we didn't vet him completely before the election.  I'm sure many people would have changed their vote if they knew what we know about him now.

Ruling Class Republicans have a lack-luster support for her because she didn't have the same pedigree and background (i.e. Ivy League school, Good ol' boy network, etc...).

What I see is hate and vitriol greater than that against W; its like Bush Derangement Syndrome x 10 you people have.

---

So which rule do you follow?  The Buckley Rule or the Limbaugh Rule for electing conservative candidates?
Well, since William F Buckley was infinitely more intelligent than Rush Limbaugh... The Buckley Rule, of course.
Do you know the difference between the "Buckley Rule" and the "Limbaugh Rule" for electing Republicans off-hand?

Yep. Buckley said to pick the most electable conservative. Limbaugh wants the most conservative candidate regardless of their electability.

Harmor, you don't seem to understand that your viewpoint makes up a very narrow sliver of a minority among the American populace. People who cater to you and those that think like you are not electable. The American population does not want a bible thumping idiot in office who will set back the intellectual progress this country has made over the past two centuries. She's a bimbo who mouths the right words in order to get a certain segment of the population to like her. If that's what floats your boat then so be it.
I be go differ.

Look at Sarah Palin's popularity in the GOP is still high:

25% say Romney
24% say Palin
22% former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee.

Source: http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_ … rs_in_2012

You hate her and you want her to fail.  You're afraid that she could succeed and thus you hate her and want her to fail.  Instead of challenging her on her character and her positions you talk about her like you would a hooker on the street corner - that's shameful.

Look, we don't need to get into an e-pissing match.  Obviously you wouldn't vote for her if she was in a one-person race.  We get it.
Do you not understand that Republicans make up approximately 25% of this nation? So... 24% of 25% is... 6% of the fucking nation.

She has no fucking positions, she's a goddamned cheerleader for whatever is 'popular'.
I'm sorry your math assumes that 0% of Democrats and Independents support her.  So lets swap sides for a sec and calculate on the Democratic side.

Remember when Hillary and Obama were going at it?  Lets say they were 51% Obama and 49% Hillary.  Democrats are 35% of registered voters.  So with your logic Obama was only supported by 51% of 35% or a little less than 18% of the country (using your math), in a two person race.

So lets go back even further to the Iowa caucus vote in 2008 where Obama had 37.6% of the Democratic support.  35% of 37.6% (using your math) is 13.7%.

Now none of us have a crystal ball and will know, IF Sarah Palin did go for the Presidency, and where to win the Republican nomination what the actual numbers would be in a head-to-head against Obama.

We have seen what Obama can do in 20 months of his Presidency.  Another 24 months from now things could be anywhere.

Now I have to give you this...Sarah Palin's favorbility (not job approval), rating is 37% compared to Obama's 52%   So he is definiately more likable then her at this time.  I attribute alot of that to the hate in the Liberial media, but that's what every Conservative has to deal with.

If she does decide to go for it, I'll be the first to admit that it'll be an uphill climb.

If it wasn't for fucking Huckabee, Romney could of won the GOP primaries. Huckabee stole alot of votes from Romney.

Never say never. It's possible, we'll just have to wait 'til 2012. I hope to god McCain doesn't try running for president again, so fucking pissed off at him. Was him that cost himself the election, not Palin.

Nah, only thing that won him the election was his eloquence. Stupid independents not following politics voted for him because of his gift of speech.

McCain was winning until he made two mistakes: going back to Congress to work on a bank bailout, and picking Palin as his running mate.

Romney certainly has the best chance of any Mormon winning the presidency.  He is a much more viable candidate than Palin and several other possible contenders.

I still wouldn't vote for him myself, but he could possibly carry the moderate vote depending on what strategy he uses in the campaign.

The Democrats had the upper hand throughout most of the campaign season.  By the time Obama won the Democratic primary, McCain was still trailing in general election projections.

Selecting Palin rallied his base, but it killed his chances at picking up moderates.
