What exactly is this "cost" thingy supposed to tell me on my stats page? It says "cost measured in cents per hour with a 50 dollar base, and I notice that the more often I play, the smaller the number.

The 50$ are the assumed price you paid for BF2.
In my case, I would need to use a €99.96 base, as I bought BF2, SF, EF and AF for the original retail price.
