Try going into natural caves, instead of digging your own quarry. Quarries tend to give lots less ores.

If you dig to the bottom (untill you hit bedrock) and then count ~5-10 blocks up and dig your way in there... you will have some better results than all the way at the bottom......El Beardo wrote:
