I played minecraft for about 50 hours vanilla- the world then became corrupt. I started a new one- but it wasn't the same.
I started looking into some server options, and how people set them up- and I learned that I could pretty much enjoy a whole new game.
The creative server I host, is simply a virtual lego world, where you are not restricted by any amount of blocks! You can build what you want, and if you want to change the style, look - There is no problem!
I love this new minecraft i've found - And alot of others do too. I like to play with lego.
In saying that- We've also released a PVE server, which I've been wanting to go back to for a while with my mates cause lego does get boring after 300 hours.

So just to be clear, you don't have to have a godmode gaming comp to run this, right?

FSX is way more demanding than Minecraft.

Depends on the build. It's gotten better since the first few beta updates. I run Minecraft on a P8600/9600MGT/4GB (home) and occasionally on a E6600/HD4600/1GB (office) setup, currently without much of a hitch.
The lag is mostly on servers, and seems to only be noticeable with giant worldedit commands or noteblock music, and the occasional micro delay when removing or placing a block.

i run my server on the same pc as i play, and i can see sometimes the load spikes like bitch, when you are playing with boats or minecarts
It runs a lot better than it used to, when it would just shut down for no apparent reason
