Well since i'm in training to be a combat medic i will be acquiring my NREMT (Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician) certificate and i was wondering if there were any EMT's on bf2s or any other combat medics to share stories or talk about the NREMT or anything. So how bout it?
My father in law owns an ambulance company. He has a blast telling gruesome stories for ppl who really wouldn't like to hear them For example this one time he went to pick up this guy who failed at suicide that included a car with a garden hose from the exhaust to the side window. A mixed bottle of pills. Booze. And as a supreme finalé, a shotgun.
Lol a bit of overkill i'd think.
My dad's a Paramedic. Once told me a story about a guy who hung himself and while they were going through the house they found he'd practiced his knots on a teddy bear with a power cord first.
And to think that he failed. The last blast was poorly targeted since he only managed to shoot his left eye to the roof of the car. Was still dingling like a wunderbaum when they arrived to the scene. The guy died one year later due to the skin transplant from his ass cheek didn't mix with his face tissue. Got badly infected. He would've gotten the job done in the first place with the pills and the exhaust fumes if he hadn't shot himself and the neighbours heard it.NeXuS wrote:

Both of my parents are EMTs. Like funk said, I have heard lots of crazy stories.
Lots of cautionary tales about drunk driving...my mom is terrified of small planes after having responded to a few gruesome crashes.
And....word to the wise gentlemen...wanking while driving=embarrassing situation upon arrival of medics...

A firefighter friend of mine pulled a kid who wasn't breathing out of a house and started CPR. A few seconds later the kid threw up into the firefighters mouth. Mac & Cheese. mmmmmm.
imortal was an EMT. He doesn't come on anymore though.

Blackbelts are just whitebelts who have never quit.
Cousin went to a school bus accident and said it was awful. He had people laying everywhere and had to decide which ones had the bets chance to help and he had to leave the others
yeah but you're the guy who remembers everyone and everything ever stated on the forums so....m3thod wrote:

shut up
urine a bad mood

1) His Sig says "Combat Medic"
2) I've been an EMT for 4 years
3) NREMT is recognized by somewhere along the lines of 3 states and any federal property.

The sig might be a BF2 throwback
