some of the album is just this like weird goth rave instrumental ambience...
some of the tracks have that dirty south rap swagger with the guy super-lazily rapping over some stark beats
some of the tracks have a woman singing with like a ghost-like voice that just makes it really eerie and just spooked out
it's a weird, weird album. on paper, it really shouldn't work. it should suck. but it's kinda hooky.
i think it just condenses a lot of influences right now: big bass, crunk/dirty south rap, juke/booty house beats, shoegaze, drone etc.
