Well it depends on the server you're downloading from. For things like Steam or a BitTorrent file with a fast swarm (or something like that) it's a HUGE help, as well as streaming from Netflix.

And hey even if it doesn't make a huge difference at least you're not getting completely assraped by the company like in the US.

I know all about this. But he was assuming that the entire population live in an area with subway services, or the whole country has a subway infrastructure.
