You guys play the game all wrong, color decks are terrible. You have to go with creature decks like elf decks, sliver decks, flying decks, cleric decks. Or a deck that pisses people off, like a burn deck where every card is something similar to lava axe... or my favorite, a counter deck where every card is a counter and you counter every single card your opponent puts out, while attacking them with a few creatures.

Oh my, those were such good times. The new cards are lame

Yes. me and a few friends actually made alot of money off it too in Middle School. We'd break into the gym lockers and steal holo cards and sell them back to other players. Never got busted either.

I did. Ran a blastoise/gyarados evo deck and an alakazam/mr mime stall deck. Many faces were rolled.

Stopped playing when they started releasing those team rocket packs (and because I was going on 11/12 at the time)
