That's a fake trailer. Look at the upload date, Feb 5, 2011. If it was real we would have all seen it already. It might be very well done, but it's still fake.
Also, if you listen closely at the end, it's obvious that the clip of Bane yelling "I will break you!" was the one from Arkham Asylum.

and yes they had The Dark Knight Rises Teaser Trailer :
Spoiler (highlight to read):
it begins with Ras dialogue from the 1st movie - then a few cut scenes of Bale when is he looking for the temple in the 1st movie - then a man laying on a hospital bed speaking but he has a oxygen mask on and most of what he says is mumbled - split sec flash scenes & 1 is a front of Bane from neck up - then cut to a alley scene of batman on the balls of his feet with his fist up like a boxer getting ready for the 1st round and you see Bane stand up to the left of the screen and just keeps standing, reminds me of the 2 different scenes in back to the future and bttf 2 with marty and Biff and Griff in the past diner and future diner - then cut to CG of the teaser poster with animation of the building crumbling and seeing the bat symbol - and then we see " The Dark Knight Rises " " Summer 2012 " on the screen and you can hear the chants
just came

But... like... find a new motif brolan.
I wonder how they'll manage to top TDK with...Bane.
Bane is an interesting character imo, has a lot of potential

dark knight was a good (just good) movie. overhyped from his death. it can be topped, no problem

I really really really loved it and even i found it to be waaaaay too hyped.
If anything, the dialog was even more grumbly and growly than the previous two films. I had to really pay attention to figure out hat they were saying in the preview. Could just be bass turned up too high, though.SEREMAKER wrote:

Summer 2012, and they are showing trailers already? What a fucking overkill.
I know fucking karate
...not really a new thing? Big time movies like this get teasers (not full trailers) about a year in advance pretty frequently. The Dark Knight had its viral campaign start more than a year before the film's release.justice wrote:

I guess that's what you mean by hyped. Anything specific? I thought Ledger's performance, especially when he was baiting the cop to fight him in prison was great.Kampframmer wrote:

I'm a big fan of the batman movies and this one of course was excellent because of several reasons: Ledgers performance, story was better than the other batman movies (not that hard), Aaron Eckhart's performance and it had tons of great and memorable scenes.Kmar wrote:

But what made it so over-hyped for me and almost ruined my excitment for the movie was the whole new stupid fan base created around heath ledger and his role and death.
Sure, this movie was great, but it was originally still intended for fans of (Nolan's) Batman franchise, but Heath Ledgers death made people instantly believe that this movie and his performance in it made it the best movie ever made.
And then of course theres the whole 'why so serious'-hype wehere every man, womand and douche that probably dont know shit about batman and have probably never even seen TDK or begins were walking around in those retarded caps, shirts and shoes and what not.
So yeah, extremely over hyped.
I tend to ignore those sorts of people, that is the ""stupid fan base". Although http://forums.bf2s.com/viewtopic.php?pi … 1#p3586351 (lol)
But if the movie blew the devote Batman loyalist should be the first ones to tell you. You see, there's a flip side of the comic-douche-bag-geekery that will always say that the new movies are never good as the older ones. You know, because they were there in the beginning, and they feel threatened by mainstream popularity.
Sad really. It's more obvious than they think.

I really have no problem with the new movies. On the contrary, theyre waaaaay better than the old ones. But they did get a whole stupid fan base around em, but it doesnt ruin the movies for me, it just ruins the whole hyp around it.Kmar wrote:

Yea, like I said.. hype does not effect me much. It took me until the end of season to start Game of Thrones even though it was apparently all the rage on the internet..lol. I tend to gravitate to lesser known smaller and independent films anyways.

The movie was still great imo and wasnt affected by the hype at all (i just ignored it, because the whole overhype thing might get my expectations too high).
But i just hate the people that love it for all the wrong reasons. I'm 99% sure taht those people wouldve thought taht this was just a another lame comic book movie (like aal those people thought of batman begins i suppose) but loved it, simply because heath ledger died and left us with a great performance (which was also overhypped due to his death).
I cant stand talking to people when they tell me how great it was because of DERP DERP DERP Y SO SRS?? DERP DERP DERP.
But then again, i have that with more than just TDK

I wouldn't say that Ledger's performance was over-hyped. When I saw the movie I was taken aback by his performance - one of the best modern performances in a long time, I think.
it was waaaaaaaaay over hyped

Nah, Nolan's motif isn't wrecked buildings, it's Michael Caine giving the protagonist important life advice that becomes even more important in the last 30 minutes when he goes into more detail about the advice.
And it's always Michael Caine.
And it's always Michael Caine.
Michael Caine giving advice is a common theme.
Decent movie but the scene preceding this little bit in particular is awesome.
