Could also be a driver related issue. Make sure all your drivers are up to date.

I still suspect faulty memory or, failing that, overheating. But your suggestion is still a good idea even if there's no problem.

I've ran memtest and I'm getting errors, so I've been testing all the sticks I have in, so far I've found 2 sticks that are not faulty, going to test the other 2 tomorrow.

Fingers crossed its just a bad stick of ram and not my motherboard.
