Who's done it?

I'm looking to get into it some way or another. I'm not looking for some get super-rich thing, just something that can toss an extra $10 or 20 into my Paypal every month.

I'm willing to put the work/time into it, but I'm just wondering if anyone's done anything that's gotten them earnings. There are all the Survey/"Offer" sites, but they tend to be more spam than anything, but maybe you guys have seen something that's legit?

There was some survey shit I did for some website that I forgot the name of (so this post is useless) years ago. Do a survey like once a month, after 3 or 4 months I got an amazon gift card.

Was so not worth it.

I'm surprised someone's actually made that connection. For a while when Freezer was doing that and posting, I wanted to get into it, but I jsut lack that magic touch of being able to score free stuff that doesn't suck balls. (I have friends that have managed to score free enterprise-level servers when our school upgraded, and some other stuff)

I did web design for a while, but never trusted myself to completely follow through 100% with a job is someone was paying me. Like I've done some work for myself and helped out some people with code, but never a full start-to-finish project. And I have absolutely NO design/drawing sense (also applies to comics)

So I dunno. I was considering doing some sort of electronics hobbying shop. (Like Adafruit or Sparkfun but smaller) but the market is massively oversaturated already.

The surveys seem like a legit option if there was a site out there that didn't fuck you over. They all tend to either be broken so you don't get credited, or have no surveys available for Canadians, or not pay out until you have like $200 in your account.

I think the only way to earn money by "working" online is those survey sites where you do x amounts of surveys then redeem them for a prize (some sites offer tons of different gift cards and for a few more surveys I believe some even offer cash)..

You'd probably become less insane by doing something on the stock market or dealing currency... not that I have any experience with either

EDIT: You might be able to earn money by playing EVE and selling ISK or those PLEX play-time cards for real-life currency...

Though I don't know if that is a violation of the EVE terms of service..

Anyone know of any legit survey sites that have actually paid out?

I'd like to get into the stock market, but I'm not 18 nor do I have any money to invest. The first issue could be worked around by asking my dad to actually do the transactions, but I doubt he'll give me money to mess with.

I'd imagine a part time job in a local shop would net you more money in a week than you'd get from a month of anything you can do online.
Short of getting the amazing, practically free, only mildly broken, shit that freezer does. In fact, i'd check for stuff like that on ebay maybe. Buy cheap defective goods, fix up and re-sell.

I'd type my pc specs out all fancy again but teh mods would remove it. Again.
