why do we even know what some one does or prefers sexually. IMO they brought it on themselves by being so In Every ones Face. My dad said there were gays in the Army back in the 50s They just didn't have parades. I know my 3rd grade teacher who was a WACK for years was a lesbian. The only problem I ever had with a Gay teacher was when my 9th grade art teacher would have his boyfriend come to class and they'd have fights. He couldn't teach at the same time. that would apply to anyone wouldn't it.

My brother and his business partner live in the same house, His neighbors or ignorant of the fact that my brothers partner and his wife split up. If They both had posters flags and bumper sticker bragging about the woman they did Im sure the neighbors would have a fit. If either one wore only a fig leaf to the parade I'm sure they would be ostracized not lauded. just the way it is . . .sorry

Have sex with people of their own sex, is more accurate. That is the only thing that truly separates them from heterosexuals. They also can't reproduce using these methods and must adopt or conceive with a partner of the opposite sex to have children. I think you knew about that little difference.  Homosexuals also have a much higher rate of suicides if I remember correctly.  There are other stats that they hold I will look into it further.

This really, its not as if its a lifestyle choice or something people are indoctrinated into.

In some cases it is I know a girl who claimed to be gay to fit in to the local jett set. Granted she was weak willed and wanted badly to fit in to the herd at any cost (No hands please.). That was the only way she was excepted..
