So, I'm going to New York in March so I'm looking for small places to eat, go out, see art, etc., and that is preferably not overcrowded with tourist and cheap.

Recommendations is needed, thank you very much (I'll give karma for the good ones).

If you want a cheaper place to eat that probably has some of the best burgers ever, try Shake Shack or Stand 4.

SoHo has an abundance of clubs, shopping and restaurants. Hell's Kitchen as well.

The MOMA and Museum of Natural History are two great museums. Some would recommend the MMA but it's more for people who are really, really into fine art. Battery Park/WTC site are a nice area to go to and see just once. The view from Battery Park is awesome.
