Well, because OP doesn't seem to mind that it has gone tangent. And I never entered that "other" thread.

We Mod's are a varied sort. I like interesting topics, especially if it sidelines the personal attacks. I'll leave it to other Mod's to close if they deem it close worthy.

I'm an info junky myself, so I feel otherwise. New tech stuff out, fine and good. Cut/paste, doesn't matter to me. I like to read up on such stuff. And yes, I subscribe to Popular Science for light reading on the innovations coming out. I could have gone the rocket scientist route instead of software engineering (I so wanted to be part of the Mars Rover project as I partiallly got into robotics back in uni), but I didn't have the "citizenship" back then. Regardless, LD's post about the J20 was fine in my opinion. Don't like the thread, ignore it.

The picture didn't look like the J-20 even had thrust vectoring, at least not built into the nozzle.

really it looks nothing like the F-22 other then a general fuselage shape. It looks bigger, canard, diff intakes, thinner wings, diff rudders, anhedral(sp),....
