I downloaded the demo over the weekend. Felt like Call of Duty:Near Future Warfare
FUCKING LAME

That is the console demo. The devs didn't make an actual PC demo for the game.SonderKommando wrote:

You think the actual release for PC will be any different, seriously?War Man wrote:

It might be. Just letting you know that the demo is actually the console demo reconfigured for PC so it may actually have even more difference who knows. Why else does it say "press start to enter the game" or something like that when you load the game up before logging in.SonderKommando wrote:

well they had to abandon other things from the retail version into the first patch because they were getting too close to the EA set launch date.Finray wrote:
Jesus christ Warman how many times can you say that
shut the fuck up
it won't be all that different, you know, if they can't be bothered making a proper PC demo they won't be bothered making a proper PC game.
On the PC demo you fucking dumbass. Most PC people use mouse & keyboard and there ain't a press start button there now is there?Finray wrote:

For the PC version, no. Console yes.Finray wrote:
Warman, I bet you £5 it'll say press start to begin on the final build.
That is a different story. Talking about video games. Have you ever played a PC game that says press start to begin?Miggle wrote:
War Man. Windows XP said "Press Start to Begin" and it didn't even have a console counterpart.
Which ones?Miggle wrote:
yes.
If you can't provide proof then stfu.Miggle wrote:
I don't remember. It really isn't important, and it certainly isn't evidence of anything.
Never really played much console ports on pc except for BC2 which doesn't have that.TimmmmaaaaH wrote:
lol war man. There are a lot of bad console ports that have press start or tell you to press x to not die etc. In fact, having a screen at all where you press enter or click to actually get to the menu is generally a good sign you are playing a port.
