Holy fuck... If I'd wanted an MX518 do you think I would've put in the requirements "WIRELESS"?

The Microsoft Sidewinder mouse (I can't remember the model name, actually) has the nice feature of being wired and wireless. It has a built in battery and the wire is magnetically attached to the mouse so when you get low on juice just touch the mouse to the wire and keep on fragging. Friend of mine has one and swears by it.

No idea what the price is there, but logitech mx revolution is the best mouse ive ever used.  i have 2 and ive gotten a few others to buy them and they love them. works on pretty well any surface including bedcovers, wood, frosted glass...  4 buttons on the thumb area.  it also has the wired + wireless thing so you can charge it wired while using it.

It's the X8 mouse.

I've got a Razer Lachesis and love it, but it isn't wireless. Perhaps Razer also makes a wireless mouse?

The only reason is so you can get fucked up on the batteries when they go flat.

That's why I suggested the X8. I totally agree that wireless mice are really quite lame, but the X8 solves the problem by providing a tethered and wireless solution. I think there is also a model from Logitech that does the same, but it's not quite the same (I don't believe it has a built-in battery like the X8, but I could be wrong).

No, I mean camm uses old batteries to get high on when they run out.

It's a way of softening the blow of buying new batteries.

My concern isn't the battery-life... I just don't like having the cord hanging out the front of my mouse.

You mean you don't like looking at the cord? because you cannot feel it....

Just to add to my above comment... if you seriously say it because you don't like looking at it...

WHY are you looking at your mouse?

Fucking hell.

The mouse cord drags. It restricts my ability to move the mouse the way I do.

Also, if you're too poor to buy new batteries, then HAHAHAHAHAHA.
