I like seeing these things debunked... let's see how long it takes.

As the source of this video has been linked to a well known ufo hoaxer, the thread has been moved to the hoax forum.
Another clue is the friend/actor in front of the video.
He is there to give you the impression more than one person is witnessing the event.
The reason why there is a flash, well a pretend flash as they are filming
is to Que the person in front to move his camera in an upward direction.
it flashes then the guy in back taking the video says Woh!
that Woh! the que for the guy in front to move his camera in an upward direction.
so they can CGI it later
crafty I say! LOL
define alone .. did you happen to see the real major science news this week (earth like planet candidates in our milkyway)? check the dast science thread.AussieReaper wrote:

Yeah, but even then we need to have reached the technological feat of inter stellar space travel. And if not us, than the alien civilization does.Kmar wrote:

Just to be clear. ^That was in relation to this http://forums.bf2s.com/viewtopic.php?pi … 8#p3445058 .. not the hoaxKmar wrote:
That is why I said define alone. Alone in the milkyway? ..universe?
Think about how *astronomically short the amount if time humans have been a part if this universe. And yet despite our incredibly brief time of existence we are already exploring and finding new worlds.
We simply do not know the odds. This new information is an example of how wrong we could be when trying to predict alien possibilities. The cosmological (light) speed limit as we know it, may not have always been the same. Check out variable light speed. Also consider other civilizations could have developed billions of years before us. The drake equation doesn't even attempt to account for that. There is also time travel, which is theortically possible (to go into the future). That is another way to deal with incredibly far distances. Its no less likely than diving into a worm hole or manipulating the fabric of space (warp).
.. and then there is stuff we havent even thought of.
We have the known unknowns, and the unknowns unknowns. ~ Neil degrasse Tyson

The odds are astronomical (lol) that we would find each other, be technically advanced enough to recognise each other and communicate (the alien civ could breath nitrogen and exhale cyanide gas for all we know). Or see in the ultra-violet spectrum (like some insects) and communicate with xrays.
I think if - if - we do make contact with an alien race, it will be like Columbus discovering native Americans. Hopefully Cortes doesn't soon follow.
You can make the exact same argument in reverse.Kmar wrote:

that's not true, they got all the way out to the Uinta Basin, and got themselves buried in sandstone.AussieReaper wrote:
