Is it really going to be compatible for windows 7 only? That sounds a bit rediculous to me but I can upgrade my pc. No big deal really.

I pre ordered BC2 on steam, And BF3 will differ not.

The good thing here is, 1 platform (no mention on PS3 / 360 and also rumours they cant handle new engine), 1 OS means that any bugs are across the range (bar users hardware).
Frostbite runs so badly. A game that looks like BC2 should not run at <60fps on a system like mine. BF2's visuals are more appealing

You can pre-order it for PS3 and Xbox360 so that might tell you something...

Game hasn't come out yet and they are already talking about add-on packs (for $$). Remember back when developers would simply support their games with added content for no additional cost? Its crap like this that splits up the community (until 48 months pass and then they just release it all for free)...

Todays "add-ons" are worthless maps and visual changes that developers charge rediculous amounts for... I don't blame them for taking dumb/rich peoples $$, but the time spent working on that content would be better spent fixing the game itself...
The Expansion packs of old will never return ;_;

I agree, businesses get to do whatever they want as long as they're trying to make money.
i am looking forward to crafting an M16 and a SCAR to get the XM8 though. will go well with my green beret (-10% visibility)
