A difference between you and I is I don't really find that insulting. Also, in case people are wondering...yes, GFWL ruined Fable 3.
i find it insulting? i'm amused people think i'm a stereotype from 5 years ago that was a north american phenomenom.

If it isn't insulting you, why do you create an event out of downplaying it? Just shrug and let people make fun of the stereotype until someone else tells them to stfu.
surely you've got the hint from, oh i don't know, the last 3 years here that i like having the opportunity to tell someone how dumb they are? it's the only kick you can get from this forum nowadays.

Well, I suppose if anyone's qualified to tell someone to stfu, it'll be you with your years of struggle and practice. Perhaps...it could even be called art.
perhaps you'll get laid soon on the back of those 4 paragraph casual-bore game reviews you keep doing as an auto-erotic exercise

Every time I go past Starbucks I have a glance inside and there is almost always someone sitting in there typing on a Mac/iPad. It makes me laugh. They're living the stereotype.

I don't think you understand what a sterotype is.Spidery_Yoda wrote:

you see them sat inside lecture theatres, too... and offices... and on the train... and in the parks... waitSpidery_Yoda wrote:

could it just be that macbooks are the most popular laptop, and that apple are the biggest tech company in the world? perhaps it may just be that people sat having a break or lunch at a coffee shop may have their trusty gadget with them? maybe, maybe just if... they're using them incidentally? for convenience? for a purpose, even?
these must be troubling thoughts for a pc gaming geek that keeps posters of gabe newell above his bed.

I had none small enough for this small Uni bed and my girlfriend had some from when she was at Uni so I used them. She's the only one that ever sleeps here besides me so it's not as if I need to impress anyone.
One that you just happen to fit perfectly into.Uzique wrote:

oh jeez so anyone that keeps a blog, uses a macbook and wears wooly clothing nowadays is a hipster?
top criteria, chief. who doesn't have a blog or wear jumpers? who hasn't ever been once to starbucks? how many people have macs?
you make such a convincing case i almost don't know what to do with myself

Im just saying you have all of them and therefore fit the bill perfectly. I also don't see Nick Robinson wearing high tops or skinny jeans.

fyi I don't have a blog (I'm not that self-centred) I don't wear wooly jumpers (I'm not a complete fashion-blind retard) and I prefer McDonalds coffee over Starbucks tbh. Plus, it's about £3 cheaper.
And I think you know my opinion on macs.

blogs can be about more than yourself. where do i keep a blog about myself? wooly jumpers are for fashion-blind retards? you don't have any knitwear made from wool to keep you warm? i have plenty. and they keep me warm in the winter. lovely. and you go to mcdonalds for a coffee? that's one degree above a truckstop (though not surprising for a scot).
i may have, at some point, fitted all of those 'criterion', but they're so vague and so have so many other people. it's not exactly convincing, haha.

Now he's buying McDonald's coffee.
So, I´m badly hooked on the first Witcher. Been some time since I forgot time when playing.

Fable 3...I love all the little meaningless things on the side. Too bad they all get old after the first time. Without this content and the endless GRINDING to glacially move your stats upward (which you don't need to do at all), I doubt the game would push an hour or two in length. I really do prefer Fable 1 so far, but I'll still give this one a chance.
