A mate wants to build a new gaming PC, his budget is $2,000 AUD.
We'll be getting everything from this site simply because it's the cheapest and best: http://umart.com.au/newindex2.phtml?bid=2
A few things to note:
*He doesn't need a new keyboard, mouse or soundcard
*He prefers an AMD CPU
*He wanted an Acer monitor but I think I convinced him the LG is better
Here it is anyway:
I recommended a SSD for his OS and program installs, and the 2TB for storage. Not entirely necessary, but cool.
6GB RAM should be plenty for now.
Dunno if the 750W PSU is a bit of overkill...
I know Samsung > all at the price point, but that LG looks great, especially with the 3 year pixel-perfect warranty.
I figured a hex core is future proofing over a quad.
Any improvements or things I've missed or do not need, let me know, thanks.
