'north america' pretty much has the same drinking culture, so we can more or less use america-canada interchangeably when comparing to 'european' beer drinking. and you're honestly going to try and argue that bud light is consumed in anywhere near the same amounts / market % in ireland/sweden as it is in NA? honestly? light beers are an american thing... i'm sure it's imported over here and sold in liquor stores/off licenses as a niche product, but it just isn't as popular. the only light beer i see on tap over here is corrs light... nor sure i've ever seen the non-light version. they're the only beer company trying to 'penetrate' the european market with the light-beer niche. and it IS a niche.
