I will try Joli as soon as build myself a new "power saving" PC. What I would really like is a Google Chrome OS based tablet so I can browse in my bed with ease.

If one there is one thing I've learned when reading feedback it's that 90% of the people who comment complain. Generally speaking when someone is happy with something they're content to use the product.

The feedback on the screencap I recommended to tazz wasn't great neither. But I can personally attest that it works flawlessly.

You can probably run more apps from right in your browser with Chrome.

Its been a while. But exactly am I looking here? Do you mean that I could run some apps within Chrome with an extension?

That was just an example of an app that has been ported to run within chrome .. tweetdeck. Springpad is also very handy for me.

Well, to be honest there are a lot of worthless apps out there as of now. However, I am starting to see more useful ones pop up here and there. I also noticed that some apps aren't apps at all, they just redirect you to a page that gives the appearance of running apps.

Apps are not a major reason to switch browsers imo. The meat and potatoes is speed, security, and appearance.

Wasn't pwn2own this week? I noticed apple released a major update just before it. Maybe they're tired of being the first to fall with Safari .

Usability of it is poor in comparison with Firebug. Only reason I keep FF always open, if Dragonfly or the Web Dev mode in Chrome were as good as Firebug I wouldn't have use for FF. Unfortunately that's not the case. The two other modes have overcomplicated themselves and it's just poorly done.
