Now that the AA is soooo powerful (sarcasm) I hope everyone is brushing up on thier rubber boat skills. Thats the only way your getting to shore on some maps.

stupid rubber boats should be floating targets. any idiot on a 50.cal can just burst it like a freaking balloon.
they should really make those damn boats go faster. have u ever seen one in real life? they go about 30knots! the ones in the game only go about 10 or so, and manuver like a model-T. they should make them fast, and very manuverable, it would be still balanced because that thing doesnt have any armor at all. and ur not gona hit anything with the MG while moving

ya instead of people going around point farming maybe people might be able to use the T R A N S P O R T choppers to T R A N S P O R T troops to the island for once. and there might be some balance then since they're won't be people just going around and not capping flags and dropping off onto the island.
i love the boats, i agree with trigger, the boats are mad fast in real life, but slow in game. maybe a new patch will solve taht...
The new patch has been out for what? A day? And even now we're dissatisfied and looking for new things to change... EA is just thinking, "You can't please some people."

I was using my previous statement as a theoretical metophore to illistrate that upon EA's application of the new 1.2 patch we, as the Battlefield 2 Community, found something that should have been altered as well when they were constructing said patch. In this particular instance, the lack of an effective aerial transport should have resulted in EA adding an increase in alternative transport, ie; the Rigid Inflatable Boat, in order to further balance the game for all of the standard maps. However, due to this lack of foresight on their part, we have became disgruntled and as a result began posting unneccesarily on these wonderful online forums. To conclude, I would also like to state that your haircut is unnatractive, and you now repel those of the opposite sex.

alls i know is i aint getting into that boat no more. period.
They just shoulda made the boats, especially dropping the hitpoints on the flyers, shoulda made the boats stronger. its the reason why the boats dont get used as much as they should esp. on Wake, But are extremely effective method of travel.

i always thought that the biggest problem on wake wasn't the chinese pilots,
but the lamers who fly the blackhawk directly over the beachheads where the chinese tanks and jeeps are always fucking waiting instead of taking it out over the ocean and taking it to a flag with no defense. you get one shot with the blackhawk at the start of the round and the 99% of the time you have an idiot pilot who takes it to the two points on the map where there is a guaranteed concentration of enemy troops.
maybe this will train people to use the blackhawk effectively, maybe not.

What this calls for is a faster more armored boat to get ashore than those floating coffins.

I think they should increase the speed of the boat but also increase the choppiness of the water and the effect on the boat.
Boats (especially rubber dinghies) don't drive that smoothly, they should make the acceleration a bit lower and the top speed higher, so you don't reach max cruising speed so fast.

lol i just wish e.a put the aa back to normal because it was fine the only issue was if u miss it will genurully hit a friendly viechle.. keep the anti bunny hoppin an dolhpin diving parts but remove the aa patch

The AA is great!! I like it. I actually have to use flares more(when flying)......If you know the map, you know where the AA is and that's the first you should take out IF someone is there after you mow it down with the MG's. YOu have to fly more acrobatic now and manuever; more than before, just get used to it and you'll enjoy and adhere to it. Seems like MOST (not all) people bitching about it are the point whoring flyboys.
