My 5770 might cut it with everything on low, but in reality it would be best to upgrade anyway.

I'm just going to buy a new computer.

I have a 3.16ghz Dual Core, 4Gb RAM and a 1GB Gigabyte Nvidia 9800GTX+ graphics card. Recently hit it's third birthday but still going strong, I have faith it'll run BF3.

I'm an ASUS guy, no particular reason. You can't really go too wrong with ASUS or Gigabyte. Personally though I would grab 8GB of RAM, it's pretty bloody cheap these days.
I'm a bit worried that my GPU might be bottle necking my CPU. I get around 40-50FPS with everything on high with 2xAA, DX11.(1920x1080)
AMD 955 3.6Ghz
8GBs of RAM
5770 1GB

Naturn you might be right about your GPU being the bottleneck. I have similar specs (945/8GB) but with a 6850, also play on high/2xAA, shes smooth as silk (1280x1024 granted)
Artefacting stopped after I update my drivers Come to think of it, it only started after the previous driver update...

It pointless him telling you as the Alpha has VERY scaled down graphics, the only only graphics options are res, and then high/med/low which all look pretty much alike. It runs ok on my E8400 @3.4ghz, ATI 4850 and 4g of ram...eusgen wrote:

How much did that cost you Nexus?
And above your tomb, the stars will belong to us.
I'm getting similar results as Nexus, 6GB RAM, i7 870 3Ghz, 1GB GTX460. 40-50+ FPS.
e: Are there any promo codes to find for the origin pre-order?
