Oooooook, I'm usually impartial in all these discussions:
1. Whining about noobtoobers/bunnyhopping/stat padders........
2. Whining about patches....
3. Whining about whineing.......
But on this occastion I've seen soooo much "fuck EA and their promises" and "fuck you for fucking my fuck fuck" and "fuck you I hate this fucking patch"
What are we? Counter Strike?
I think any patch is a good patch (Unless the patch makes your computer implode MUHAHAHA!)
In this instance I think that the patch has changed the gameplay quite a bit, but this is nothing to complain about. If there were no patches at all then the gameplay would become very boring as it would be the same every single time (though for some reason you guys like it like that).
For some reason I have seriously grown out of Karkhand. When I first started Karkhand was the only thing on my mind, but now I like the more open and tactical maps like Songhua, I'm bored of playing the same old Karkhand map over and over again. If this patch forces everyone to change the way they play then good! It will keep them interested in the game like IL2: Forgotten Battles, a patch came along that changes the way every single plane flies, people didn't complain, they just re-adapted to the game. We should do that now.
The human race would not have even dreamed up the idea of BF2 is they hadn't put up with "OMG WTF u changed rulz on pong OMFG!!!!!".
We should all adapt to the new patch or sell your BF2 copy if you hate the patch soooo much.
On second thought we should all rock out to Led Zeppelin.
