So I get back home from uni and my mom immediately has a problem. Her computer (Toshiba Satellite L300D--Vista Premium) won't boot properly.
On startup, it POSTs and goes to advance startup options. If I try normal startup, it loads for a bit and then gives me a black screen with a (movable) cursor.
If I go to safe mode, it loads a bunch of files, stops at crcdisk.sys and then gives me the same black screen with cursor.
She's currently trying to find the recovery CD, but I'm not sure how much that will help. Looks like a OS problem to me, anyways.
