We still have the 22nd amendment.  10 year limit for President.

If the incumbent President reached his 10 year limit through the 1 year "none of the above" scenario, then the VP would take over.
Just follow the chain of succession from there.

The point of a "none of the above" option would be to force the political parties to actually represent the majority of the population, and not just the fringe 10% they seem to currently represent.

For a hypothetical scenario, using the none of the above option;
If the GOP decided to run George W.M.D. Bush IV, and the Democrats ran Brittany Clinton-Kennedy in the 2032 election, the electorate & people could say "NO!" to both.
Both are ineligible for the 2033 re-campaign, and both parties are forced to field new candidates - even if one was the incumbent.

We picked the none of the above option on English rule a couple hundred years ago.

The TSA is so fucking stupid it's comical. I give each and every one of those cunts a dirty look until I get through the checkpoint.

My experience with them is that they're incompetent at best and inefficient to boot.

Employers are facing more uncertainty in the wake of a letter from the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission warning them that requiring a high school diploma from a job applicant might violate the Americans with Disabilities Act.

to be fair, you don't really need a high school diploma for most jobs but to prevent companies from having even a minimum standard for hiring is asinine.

So.. we're going to be forced to hire stupid, lazy, unmotivated people.. because it's a disability?

Meh - non-issue.

Just file in the trashcan, any job applications that show an inability to follow instructions (not filled out properly),
or resumes that show a substandard ability with the English language (text-isms, your/you're type errors, grade school spelling errors, etc).

true Jay. i think I get the intent of the EEOC's thing though. a guy who's mentally retarded might not be able to get a high school diploma but he can probably still do janitorial work. i'd rather he at least have a job like that than have him be totally dependent on welfare.

If found guilt, I hope they fry.

However, no one would force the dude to crawl over gravel for 100 meters just because he is Chinese. That's absurd. He must've missed formation or left his post or something.

People with mental/physical disabilities can still get diplomas/equivalencies. It's required, per the IDEA act (an implementation of ADA in schools--derp), which governs special education requirements. This is an example of one part of the government not knowing about existing laws/policies and not vetting their initiatives with other stakeholders before publishing them to prevent conflict.

Or, in other words: complete, utter, incompetence.

More drama at the Foxconn plant:

Tomshardware wrote:

Three hundred Foxconn workers threatened to jump off the roof of an Xbox 360 manufacturing plant after they didn't receive their pay.

ZoomKotaku reports that 300 employees of a Foxconn plant in Wuhan, China, threatened to kill themselves by jumping off the roof in a mass suicide attempt. The threat took place on January 2 after the workers were denied an increase in pay.

This particular plant manufacturers the Xbox 360 console, and the uproar ignited by the raise denial actually caused production to be temporarily suspended for an undisclosed amount of time.

According to the report, the workers asked for the raise, but were flat out denied by Foxconn. Instead, they were given the option of keeping their jobs with no pay raise, or to quit and receive compensation. Most decided on the latter option, wanting out of the Foxconn environment with a little cash in their pocket.

But the agreement was supposedly terminated, and those who quit and expected money never saw a dime. So on January 2, they all headed to the factory rooftop and threatened to jump. It wasn't until 9pm the following day that they were talked into coming back down off the roof, reportedly coerced by the mayor of Wuhan himself.

Meanwhile, Microsoft has opened up an investigation, claiming that it takes working conditions in the factories that manufacture its products very seriously. "We have a stringent Vendor Code of Conduct that spells out our expectations, and we monitor working conditions closely on an ongoing basis and address issues as they emerge," the company said. "Microsoft is committed to the fair treatment and safety of workers employed by our vendors, and to ensuring conformance with Microsoft policy."

This isn't the first time Foxconn has dealt with suicides. Back in 2010, over a dozen Foxconn employees committed suicide, forcing the company to install suicide prevention nets at some of its facilities. In addition to the Xbox 360, Foxconn builds products for Sony, Nintendo, Apple and many other well-known vendors.

there's cheap labor all over China.  Wuhan isn't significantly different than any other part in that regard.  thanks for the insight though.
