With sickness, I've caught some weird, painful shit over the years but usually only figure out what it was after its all over. Not great but hey it keeps my medical file short.

I prefer to stay away from any sort of medication unless I absolutely need to take it. On the topic of pain, as long as it isn't killing me I'll bear the pain for a couple weeks if need be.

Appendicitis. I'm not sure how I got it; I blame it on the Taco Bell I ate that same day. All I know is that at 5PM on that fateful Friday I started feeling a stomach ache, and by 8PM I was in a ton of pain and went to the hospital. Barfed like hell around 8:30, got fully diagnosed by 10 or 11PM, stayed the night and they cut me up in the morning.
Hot nurses made the hospital stay bearable tbh.
e: also what ghetto said. They told me my options were either surgery or to let it burst and then take a shitload of antibiotics to stop the infection and shock. Pretty easy choice...
