Hey everyone, It's been a while but I'm back
I need some help with some new parts
So far I got this

https://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p120/sockerboy091013/newcomp.jpg

I just need to pick out a psu and maybe a new mouse

For the psu I'm thinking either a 750 or 800w by corsair, thermaltake, xfx, ocz, antec, rosewill? idk

and for the mouse probably a razer (as I have a diamondback), either the Deathadder  or the Lanchesis (body shape looks almost the same as the original diamondback)  or the MX 518 that everyone seems to love.

and It's going to be a gaming rig, I'm keeping my XFX 5770 from my past computer, and my 19" monitor and saitek eclipse

thanks in advance

get a new gpu

but aside from the, it's looks good.

Z68 boards look pretty good. read a review of them in custompc the other day. Apparently some are coming with a 20gb ssd on the motherboard to act as a cache for the hdd,

bf3 is gonna rape computers. looking at AT LEAST a quad core, and something bigger and meatier than a 5770, it's gonna require alot of VRAM, so I would suggest a 69xx card, although I would wait, because apparently 7xxx cards are coming out soon.

Case looks kinda chinsey.  However, the components look good.  I agree with Camm, recycle your  video card for now and wait a little longer.  Jelly of the Z68 though man, fucking sweet board.  I've had great builds using Antec, Thermaltake, and Corsair PSU's anyone of those would work well.

Since that case is kinda cheap I'm betting it doesnt have the best cable management options, so go modular on the PSU.

The BF3 system reqs are supposedly no higher than BC2 afaik.

Sad.

Btw, your 5770 will be fine for BF3

Spoiler (highlight to read):
Only kidding, just didn't want to agree with Cammy again

This is the rumor.  Im sure the expanded physics and animations will take a stronger toll on the CPU and GPU respectively.

chinsey? haha
idk, I liked it for some reason, no clue why
I'll probably end up using a Corsair or Antec, thanks for the input though

Yea, like made of poor materials like sheet metal and plastic.  I'd have to look at it more indepth, but for that price it probably doesnt have the best build quality or have the cable routing features you'd get in something like an 800D.

* I took the time to actually look at it on Newegg, I stand by the cheap metals and plastic comment, but the cable routing seems to be ok.

MX 518 is an amazing mouse, I've owned one for a while now. Can't make a comment on the others as I've never used one.

I use the g5, not sure what the difference between the two is as they look the same structurally.  Anyways, cant go wrong with it.

Not really into wireless, plus the shape of that looks really awkward

I really don't get people who say they're not into wireless.

This may have been valid in 2003, but the technology today makes it so you can barely tell the difference between wired and wireless.

The people who can are probably just experiencing a placebo effect.

I actually used to use only a wireless mouse
It's just I'm a pain when it comes to changing batteries, plus after a while the life gets shorter and shorter
Doesn't always read perfect 100%

untrue, I can notice a very significant difference between my mamba in wireless and wired mode, and I've tested it with two different mamba as well. Same goes when comparing it to other mice. Aiming in wireless is sluggish and heavy, and that with what's supposed to be the ultimate wireless gaming mouse.
