Looked into it further. That company has so much positive feedback that I'm amazed they care that much. For one fucking pound, you'd think they'd just chuck over another one in case it got lost in mail (not their fault, necessarily)...you know, to get more glowing feedback?

"encourage" and "can open a case" don't sound like "Do it this way or get sued!"

I think I would report them to eBay about their threats, to be honest. I really don't think eBay would tolerate threats against their population. If this were to get out that you can get sued for buying something on eBay and then NOT GETTING it, then I think it could hurt their business.
