That would make for an amusing signature line.
First Mod to use that in an AWM should get a free beer.

Personally, I'd change the feedback to "Seller threatened a lawsuit, over a shipping address misunderstanding, on a 99p part"
Then post their threat letter.

Completely factual.

Completely likely to make other customers find another vendor.

TBH they have a shit load of positive feedback, and 22 negative. But all the negative feedback is followed up by retarded comments.

Sounds to me like a lazy representative for the company had nothing better to do than start an e-argument with you. Forget about it, laugh it off.

It is really does come down to a court case, they have nothing against you that will make you lose.
You have the right to chose whatever friggin' feedback you want.

I'm assuming that as soon as they get negative feedback from anyone, they jump the gun and take 'em to court? Screw them.

Okay, aside from 'i never received my goods', 'i forgot to change the delivery address', and 'apparently it never got delivered to my parents address anyway' what reason can you proffer?

Your item was sent with about 17,000 other orders we ship each week, unfortunately a very small number do get lost with royal as is common for everyone who uses royal mail. However, if we are not told by the customer the item has not arrived, there is nothing we can do about it.

Therefore customer who libel us in feedback and have not communicated with us to let us know theres a problem never mind actually resolve it, in line with ebay rules we take court action as a standard policy, in order to be compensated and so that ebay will remove the feedback.

We have also noted that you have stated in your email we did not actually send the item, which is accusing us of fraud and further libelous.

We trust this answers your query.
Happy?

well that's equally silly on your part then - no? trashing someone's ebay reputation (a vendor that clearly values their rep) over 99p? if you're too lazy to send an email enquiring where it is, and sorting it out like any normal person would, how come you have the energy to negative feedback with little-to-no grounding? if you'd sent an email and received no response, then perhaps i'd see where you're coming from. complaining and trashing a vendor's reputation when it is perfectly plausible that the item is lost or damaged beyond their control is... dumb of you.

and if they're shifting anywhere near 10,000+ items per week, you can bet your ass they can afford a court-case.

to be fair you didn't use the negative feedback feature responsibly or maturely... a reasonable step would have been to email. the value of the auction doesn't mean anything when you're talking about libel and defamation, as opposed to fraud or theft; the money is irrelevant, it's the reputation that you're unduly damaging. and, to be frank, it sounds like they have a lot more money behind them than you. having thought about it, i'd just remove or cancel the negative feedback, because you didn't take the necessary steps yourself to really justify it.

I'm pretty sure the court would dismiss a case like this instantly due to the 99p.

I'm tempted to order from them to leave neg feedback myself. lol

I would be pretty pissed off if someone left me negative feedback without letting me have a chance to try ang resolve the situation, but i also don't think anyone would actually consider taking legal action over it
