So gents ... WI will soon join the other states allowing concealed carry now that the bill is headed to the governor's desk for signature.

What's your pistol and holster of choice for concealed carry?

I've been lawfully carrying for well over a decade....

Settled on a Seecamp .32.  Look in to them.  I've never owned or handled a tighter put together pistol.  Combined with the right type of ammo, it is a nasty little guy.  I've shot the hell outta mine using magtech

It is on me all the time.  Like carrying a wallet.  Several reasons for that too as I have carried full size autos and revolvers.  I'd be more than happy to discuss why.

'California' edition has an added safety (silver shit visible atop trigger mechanism).  Mine does not.  On both versions there is a visual indicator located atop the barrel where you can spy the rim of the bullet in the chamber.  There is a stout tiggerpull, so you must exert effort to discharge this, it won't go off in your pocket... I actually carry mine in a small holster that looks exactly like a wallet.  It shields the trigger until drawn.

Walther size comparo.

Plus you can engrave these lil fuckers and they look titties...  As you can tell from the trigger lacking the additional silver crap, it is not a California model.

Glock 21 sounds nice, unless you want a 9mm pistol.

I like revolver myself, although obviously I won't be carrying.

Revolver triggers can be long and heavy but still supersmooth, you have to be talented to make them jam, get a misfire and you're already onto the next round.

Why?  I was going to merely retort, 'why not' but here's my answer.

Criminals don't make appointments.

As to why I went with the seecamp?

It is easy to carry.  I live in Florida and wearing a full size or even subcompact is too annoying to do everyday.

If you'll notice, there are no sights on the gun.  Mr. Seecamp did his homework with respect to researching police shootings and if the officer remembered using his sights, some point of reference, or not aiming at all.  He determined that at such a close range sights weren't utilized.

I decided that if (and god forbid) I every have to use it, it will happen very fast, be up close, and nasty.  I'll probably shit myself when all's said and done.  That aside, the seecamp for its reliability, ease of carry, and with the ammo I'm using, was the right choice for me.

I heard they recently had to recall all the .45 GAP's that went to the FHP (fl highway patrol) due to slide malfunctions.  Not characteristic of Glock at all.

.45 GAP is different than .45 ACP. Right?

Edit: Sorry, just seemed odd to me how you quoted it.

We know, Brits can't carry guns without a permit and it is very fucking hard to get a permit. So they gotta substitute.
