The Trackr experiment really showed that people are preferential to what they know. Even if Jeff does start bf3s.net I don't forsee a mass migration unless he forcably initiates one.

What this site has become is so far removed from the Battlefield game itself that the fact that BF3 is being released is almost inconsequential.

fallacious logic. if bf3s.net can attract anywhere near the amount of stat-tracking traffic from google (or the like) as bf2s.com did, then jeff isn't going to give a shit what a bunch of moaning bitches sat on an 8 year old forum do. bf3 is obviously - for better or for worse, merited or not - going to be one of the biggest shooters of the year, and the traffic that bf3s.net (and its linked forums) could get in comparison to the 20 active posters here isn't going to make jeff blink an eyelid at the 'fate' of this community. it'll be adapt or die out... and good fucking job.
