We spend millions of dollars on police salaries every year. I have never, in the 25 or so years that I've lived in New York felt that I was in danger on the street. If I did happen to have a gun on me and drew down on someone, the most likely outcome would be me getting shot by the cops. Defending your home or business? Absolutely no problem with that. The cops won't get there in time. But walking around with a concealed weapon in broad daylight for the one in a billion chance that I'll actually need it? Nah. I wish i could say the same. I could think of 2 distinct occassions when having a firearm on my person saved my ass. one of em I was carrying it when i shouldnt have but it came in handy. then again, these were my gangbanging thug life west side weside years so i put myself in those situations

I'm genuinely surprised at how many of you have 'concealed carry'.. Do you feel like you need it? Because we lived in Houston for eight years and never even considered getting one.
Do they not escalate situations? Do you not worry that guns may be pulled during a regular bar-fight/whatever?
Fuck I can't even imagine living with so many guns around me.
I also find it disturbing that shifty thinks guns are fucking awesome and practices shooting people with a pistol stuck in his jeans like fucking John McClane and thinks shooting and scooting is a fine idea.
