palmdale and lancaster sit on the antelope valley/mojave desert (hence the joshua trees disappear once you pass into acton)
we're a bit more into the hills, but yeah we're still shit although i would rather live in acton any day over palmdale.
think i would rather live here over santa clarita too, then again they're closer to the valley and they have castaic lake for some bass fishing so idk. as far as retarded yuppies and kids go i'll pass.
