Think outside the box. The OP image failed to specify the extent of shapeshifting ability. Therefore, if you can shapeshift your body, you can shapeshift your organs, and thus upgrade your brain in any way you see fit. Telepathy. Fine-tuned shapeshifting like that can also specifically target your body on a chemical and cellular level, nullifying age and injury.
