VIDEOPHOENIX - Police refer to him as a "serial grinder," but they insist it's no laughing matter.
Investigators are looking for a man who calls himself Trina. He dresses in women's clothing and reportedly frequents area bars and nightclubs.
Once there, he's known to approach men on the dance floor and begin "grinding" on them, or dancing in close contact in a provocative manner.
Police say Trina invites fights with the tactic and is often thrown out of clubs.
That's what happened at Club PHX on March 28, 2011.
Police say Trina was sprayed with pepper spray and told to leave the club. He then wound up looking for water at a Circle K near 7th Street and Buckeye Road.
Once there, police say Trina became involved in an altercation in front of the convenience store, pulled out a handgun and began firing into the air in a crowd of about a dozen people.
ABC15 was first with the surveillance tape of the incident.
Nobody was hurt, but the act was a felony and now police want to find their suspect. They tell ABC15 Trina is dangerous and may act dangerously again.
