Year after year they have one of, if not the, highest payrolls, and rarely anything to show for it except an early playoff exit. That shit can be accomplished for a lot cheaper...they should look to the Blues for tips.

They call South St. Louis "Little Sarajevo" or "Little Bosnia" because so many refugees moved over in the mid-90s, and there is a lot of petty crime there (that same area is close to "The Hill", which is where all the paisanos live...). North St. Louis (Missouri side) has been almost as bad as East St. Louis (Illinois side) in terms of violent crime...but to be honest, it's almost entirely the black-on-black variety.
So yes, overall it's consistently one of the most dangerous cities to live in. Anyone I know who lives there currently, lives in the 'burbs. The west side of town seems to be the go-to region for the ongoing White Flight from the city.

WHAT THE HELL REF?! YOU F#@KING IDIOT! He called a high-stick on the Kings after about 5 minutes when a Kings player put in a goal. Absolute bullcrap. The whole crowd was furious. We all saw the four big screens showing him clearly have the stick WAIST high instead of shoulder high. Damn it
Anyway, it was great to see my first American hockey game in person. I've been to our local rink in Switzerland several times but that only fits about 2000 people. This was really awesome.
Oh and LA is full of douchebags.
