My story:
When I first got BF2 I set up my USB gamepad for flying and it worked fine.  I had to reinstall BF2 a while ago, and with the then newest patch, I couldn't get my axises to map correctly, so I stopped flying.
With the new patch, I can get my axises to map, but whenever I start flying I instantly curve to the right.  The pad has been calibrated using the calibration tool in Windows, but I still have the problem.  Recently, I tried using a PS2 controller and USB adapter.  In Digital mode, I can fly, but if i try to use the stick, I get the same problem as the other controller.
I tried searching this forum and didn't find anything.  Searching with google, the only solution I found was to uninstall SP2, which I really do not want to do.
Anyone else have this problem and a way to solve it?

the problem is not bf2 related i had the same prob with a usb gamepad that did that on all games. just boot into safe mode and whack the drivers for the gamepad and reinstall it. worked for me.

u can also try adjusting the deadzone on the stick.
