So after 2 hours on the line with some fillipino, apparently we got everything sorted out. Not.

I use a wireless network in my home. Computer is hardwired, everything else, including my xbox is wireless. My laptop and my iPad can connect just fine now. Yet when I go on xbox live, I constantly get booted.

I can play BF3 for about 1 minute before I get disconnected from xbl. I try and play a game of black ops, only to load the map and then get disconnected.

My xbox can access xbox live just fine, I can connect to that, but as soon as I try to join a public game, I get booted. My NAT is fine, DHCP is enabled, I even tried a virtual DMZ for my xbox's IP address to no avail.

I'm gunna try disabling our windows fireall, but I'm assuming this is futile too. I have no idea what caused all of this.

Any advice?

Reset your router and modem.  Try assigning a static IP to your Xbox 360 (that's out of the DHCP range) then run it through a DMZ.

I'm a noob with internet stuff, but how would I assign a static IP to my xbox?

Quick Google search yielded this result, although the firmware looks dated:
http://portforward.com/networking/staticip-xbox360.htm

Essentially you want to go into your router's control panel and see the maximum number of DHCP users, and assign a static IP above that range to the Xbox.  (For me, my range is 192.168.1.100 - 192.168.1.150, so I assigned 192.168.1.157 to my PS3, 156 to my PC, etc.)  Adding it to the DMZ will open all ports allowing you the best connections for multiplayer (ie Open NAT for COD).

So I port forwarded my xbox's TCP and UDP ports and I managed to play a round of black ops with it only saying connection interrupted once, but I remained connected. My mom's laptop just disconnected though, which doesn't make sense.
