That is SOPA, protect ip is the Senate's version. It's a bad bill and won't go anywhere. I don't even think it left committee.

A. In order to enforce it, you will need a huge government department to manage internet traffic, block things, enhance security etc.
B. It's too broad and can be abused by businesses to suppress all sorts of activity, from satire to whistle blowing things like wikileaks
C. Scares off investment in internet business and infrastructure
D. Gives businesses carte blanche in enforcing their copyright. Think DDOS attacks on websites and other normally illegal things

First things first. I am a human being. Secondly I hold no allegiance to any country that cannot respect it's citizens and provide a moral and effective way to govern them. The people in office now are seriously fucking everything into the ground. I do my part by voting writing senators and such but if it continues like this i'll leave.
