Lenovo ThinkPads are sweet... I'll probably buy one when my VAIO dies / becomes obsolete...
Your thoughts, insights, and musings on this matter intrigue me
im an idiot. thought that asus i posted had a backlit keyboard for some reason. why do all these laptops that cost $800 or more not having fucking backlit keyboards? so retarded. guess i just have to get the dell xps
. . .
Why do you even NEED a backlit keyboard? as soon as the monitor is on it illuminates the keys, not to mention you shouldn't be looking at your keyboard when typing...

oh, i also need storeys
Not always, dude. On a black notebook with a black keyboard, the keys might as well be invisible and sometimes you DO have to look for those keys.FloppY_ wrote:

would it be dumb to get 1920x1080 on a 15" or should i just spend a little less for 1366x768?
whats a "little less"? id want it, though if its hooked up to an external monitor most of the time it might not be needed
Personally I love the 1080p LED screen on my 15" laptop. But it depends how much extra it is.
Depends on if the price is a huge difference, but the higher the resolution, the better off you are. Improves productivity by a long shot.gurdeep wrote:

think it was like $100 or $150 more. just wasnt sure if it was pointless/dumb to get it on a 15" screen. dont believe ive ever used a laptop with 1920x1080
the pixel density is amazing on a 1920x1080 15" screen
for a fatty you're a serious intellectual lightweight.
You'll never regret spending the money, trust me. My girlfriend's laptop before her current was a 1280x1024... horrible. Now she has 1366x768 and that's not too bad, but a 1920x1080 makes all the difference in the world. You can really take advantage of Window 7's aero snap then.
noice, ty
Anytime.
