Then it is not worth cracking. It holds no value to anyone but you, so why even bother with protecting it?
To be honest your "un-crackable" software holds more value than pretty much any software out there... if it were as simple as you think, the people who stand to lose millions in sales would be willing to pay a fuck ton for it, or they would already be using it.
uhh... a business can still be profitable and NOT be a fortune 500 company. like i said, it's a small side project from a high school student.
having software connect to a server is not mind blowing new technology. businesses could do it now if they wanted to make their customers require an active internet connection at all times. obviously, they dont want to inconvenience their customers.
in my case, they would need an internet connection anyway, so it doesnt inconvenience everyone. this isnt new. example: look at every online game. you can't crack WoW to play it online for free and etc.
i dont understand why this is such a hard concept to understand
