The life of Earth is evidence enough. Seeing as how (relatively) unremarkable our Solar system is.

Makes you think if there is life on those huge planets with living objects who are the size of earth by themselves. Or a whole solar system or universe with life that's the size of your hand.
Even these past two weeks you've been able to (from upstate NY, at least) see Jupiter, Mars and Venus in pretty clear view from the naked eye. Just something like that makes you feel so ridiculously insignificant it's almost depressing.

Yeah I'm pretty sure with a universe that big there has to be some sort of life somewhere

Maybe we are the first of many..
Life has been evolving on Earth for some 4.4 billion years. The universe is about three times older than that. We are late comers if anything.
We are even late comers on Earth really. Dinosaurs had hundreds of millions of years. Mankind a few hundred thousand.Superior Mind wrote:

...should believe evolution isn't real because there's a genealogy from Adam to Jesus written in the Bible. By adding up the ages between births you can get an good idea withing a hundred or so years between Adam and Jesus. If the earth is ~6000-7000 years old...
Just amazing.
wtf does god have to do with this?AussieReaper wrote:

Logic dictates that we're alone in the universe!

Another person commenting on the story of Creation without knowing squat about it.
The stats are pretty awesome though. Each dot is a GALAXY. We are pathetically small in the grand scheme of things. Conspiracy Keanu: Do you guys ever wonder if the universe is like the mind of somebody or represents something greater? I don't know how to explain it but it's fun to think about.
And above your tomb, the stars will belong to us.

Blackbelts are just whitebelts who have never quit.
small globular clusters contain hundreds of thousands of stars. Tiny dwarf galaxies contain several billion stars. the boring old milky way contains at least 200 billion stars.Jaekus wrote:
