pulled from the batman shooting thread.  I read an interesting theory on this.  Bill James, the grandfather of sabermetrics recently came out with a book analyzing true crime stories.  He put up a theory that Kennedy actually was killed by someone other than Oswald - a secret service agent who in the ensuing chaos was waving his gun around and accidentally fired.  According to Bill James, the trajectory of the secret service agent's misfire matches the blowout of the head and the caliber fits as well.
